With the help of Photoshop, a young man now adds himself as an adult in his childhood photographs

Since we were children until now that we are adults, many things in us are no longer the same. Starting with the physical, which surely although we look alike, has gone through all the changes that our body has as we grow.

Wouldn't it be great to have our versions of children and adults in a single image where we can really see the differences? A young man thought it would be fun to see him, so it occurred to him to add himself, now as an adult, in the images of his childhood. The result is quite fun.

In a project entitled "Childhood" (Childhood), Conor Nickerson, a young photographer and musician who lives in Montreal, decided to make an introspective of the images of his childhood. Taking a fun and creative twist, He decided to add himself with the help of Photoshop to those old photographs.

Through a post on his Facebook page, Conor explains how he had the idea of this project:

While looking at some old family photographs, I wondered what it would look like if I tried to add myself with Photoshop on them. So I gathered all the old caps and shirts I can find (I tried my best to make it look like I was from the late 90s / early 2000s), and placed myself in eleven moments of my childhood. The result was that I learned a lot from Photoshop, and a fun, strange and surprising introspective collection of photographs of me spending time with me. Enjoy!

On other occasions we have seen photographs of brothers who recreate images of their childhood and the result is a very funny one, however, Conor's photographs seem impressive to me when really comparing in a single image how it has changed over the years. No doubt he has good skill for Photoshop because they look very real. To see the rest of the images, you can visit the project page.
