Highlights in Babies and more: June 20-26

Today is Monday and as every week comes the time to do a review of the highlights of the last week in Babies and more.

This week, with the school holidays and with the desire to enjoy the heat, we have continued with our Special Travel with children in which we are talking about everything related to travel, babies and children. This week we have dedicated it to give you a series of recommendations on trips with children, first, be attentive to know how to adapt to your needs and also some good practices that will make our vacation a success.

The question of the week was: What do you think about non-vaccination? and we have presented the possibility of asking our expert editors questions, starting with Eva who is answering questions about the first symptoms of pregnancy.

With the arrival of summer, plans with children can be wonderful, although sometimes you have to take precautions and remember the dangers of inflatable pools. And speaking precisely of the beginning of summer, we have suggested some fun things to do with children on the night of San Juan.

We have told you more about speech disorders and this time we have explained dysarthria. Also, on parenting, we have reflected on what is overprotection (and what is not).

The behavior of children, their emotions and their reactions have been an issue that we have discussed in depth this week, both in terms of sports practice showing the different attitudes of sports parents and unsportsmanlike parents, as well as what children feel when their beloved teacher does not return the following year.

The dream should calm us down and give us strength for the next day, but there are always things that we can add to our customs to rest better. In this sense we have wondered if in pregnancy it is better to sleep on the left side and to resolve conflicts while children sleep.

Finally, I will highlight the two deliveries of an extensive interview with the psychologist specializing in family and childhood, Teresa García, with whom we have talked about the feelings, rhythms, conflicts and needs of children regarding their socialization and sociability. He has told us such interesting things as "just as we do not force walking, we must not force socialization" and that "no one can respect the needs of another person without knowing them."

We hope this week our review of Highlights of Babies and more you liked it and we are still working to offer you interesting and varied content always.
