Tired children with the arrival of spring

You may have noticed some tiredness in your children during the last days. Although it seems incredible, the arrival of the new station has a lot to do with the children feeling more tired.

It is so typified that this disorder of the physiological mechanism has even its own name. It is called spring tiredness or spring asthenia. It is suffered by both adults and children and is characterized by a decline, demotivation and widespread exhaustion. It is largely because the days are longer and the good weather encourages the development of more activity.

You will notice to the best that the child is somewhat irritable, sensitive, sad or capricious due in large part to the fatigue he suffers. It is normal for them to fall asleep (or rather fall asleep) earlier than usual, which costs them more to get up in the morning or comply with the daily routine.

It is a symptom that usually manifests itself at this time of the year, at the beginning of spring, and that lasts a few days or at most a couple of weeks until the organism returns to its rhythm.

To help them fight spring fatigue we can follow some simple tips like. 1) Respect the hours of lunch and rest, that is to get up, eat, have dinner and go to bed every day at the same time, 2) Perform outdoor activity because both exercise and the sun help to charge them with energy and 3) Offer them energy meals by increasing the consumption of fruits and vegetables. The juices of natural fruits, dairy, cereals and carbohydrates contribute to restore the vitality that the body needs.
