Scribblenauts Remix is a game for kids to practice and learn the cause-effect relationship

The application Scribblenauts Remix It works on iPhone and iPad. It has a price of 0.79 euros (which can surely be modified in time) and is permanently updated in the Apple App Store. It weighs 158 MB and is in English and German (no, it is not in Spanish). The developer is Warner Bros. Entertainment who has worked hard to draw some attractive drawings.

The first time I looked at it, I didn't know what I had to do. Used to games of moving figures, throwing birds, shooting spacecraft or taking pictures did not understand the meaning of the game. Until my daughter started experimenting and trying it and she explained the operation. Basically it's about that a child has to achieve success, and achieve a star, in a specific scenario. And to do so you have to use the clues offered by the game, imagination and creativity and a notebook in which you issue instructions. And all in English.

The instructions issued in the notebook allow the character unlimited power because he can issue any order and the machine will understand. It seems to me that you cannot write ordinary places, marks and nouns. In any case the application always proposes a word for the player to choose and then to the protagonist, What you have written appears to you! ready to be used. And it is very funny because there are times that the things or animals that you put on the stage interact with each other and generate unexpected results.

The star to be obtained is called Starite and it is not always easy to move forward and obtain although the application allows you to jump to try other scenarios and learn more about the mechanics of the game and thus go back.

I know there is a version for Nintendo DS although we have only tested it for iOS. On Apple devices you can play in 5 different worlds each with 10 levels. In addition, and as I have read, the controls of the main character are not the same as those of the game console. In Apple devices everything is tactile and the movement of the protagonist is not always simple.

At all levels of the game you can get clues, in English, of what kind of things you need to get or what the hero of the game has to do. Perhaps that is the hardest part, that the game is in English, although when we sit with the kids and we share the experience we can learn all, practice and have a fun time. Because not everything is shooting and shooting, you can also practice imagination, tactics and work the causes and effects that happen during the game.
