One of the films that children liked the most this year is that of Maleficent, Disney, where the protagonist is the evil witch of Sleeping Beauty, in a story where it turns out that, after all, it is not so evil as it seemed. Performed by Angelina Jolie, her winged character does not go unnoticed by girls and surely many will want to dress up on Halloween.
It is not a very complicated costume, since it is enough to get dark clothes and perhaps a cape, however the subject of the horns is the one that can complicate the matter a bit and for this we will explain today how to make Maleficent's horns for Halloween costume.
What do we need
To make the horns, which are actually a cardboard headband, we need the following:
- The template, which we will print
- Scissors
- Black Cardboard and Green Cardboard
- Glue stick
How to make Maleficent's horns
The first thing we will do is print the template twice, on folios. That way we will have the two horns, which we will join by the "Overlap" tab. The result will serve us as pattern to trim the real horns, we will make them with green cardboard.
The other page will serve as a pattern to cut the different sizes of the texture of the horns in black cardboard. We do them in duplicate and so we will have for both horns. We paste them to each of them and we will have the front part.
Finally, we create a headband with black cardboard, which we can close with glue or staples. This headband is attached to the front and we will have the horns for the Maleficent costume.
