The exciting reaction of a child with autism upon hearing his favorite song at a Coldplay concert

A week ago we shared an essential video to learn a little more about what is autism, why people with this disorder act as they do and how they feel. Essential because it showed us a reality that many do not take into account: that people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) have an increased sensory capacity, who live with greater emotion the stimuli they receive, and that in the same way that in some moments it bothers them greatly, in others it makes them live with passion.

And passion is what surely the son of a dad called Luis Vazquez when they went to a concert of Coldplay and the boy listened not only to his favorite group, but also his favorite song: passion, emotion, tears ... pure feeling.

More than a million visits

The father shared it a week ago and the video has gone viral very quickly. They enjoyed the concert so much, they enjoyed watching their excited son so much, watching their favorite group, listening to the song they like best, that they decided to share it with the whole world. And people have responded by seeing it, and also feeling through the emotion of the child, and what is better, in many cases, understanding children with autism a little better.

They are not disconnected children from the world, not like many Piemsa people. Of course, there are different degrees within the spectrum, but there are things they like, stimuli they welcome and enjoy in many cases more than others do.

Music as a point to work

And the music has been completely valid and useful for working with these children. It is not the only way, obviously, but within a therapy from many fronts, it is a very valuable tool. It is known as music therapy and, as we have explained on other occasions, it serves to develop children's abilities.

That is why in many countries children study music at school, and not only music, but they play different instruments (and not like in Spain, where it seems that they give less and less value and where they do not play much more than the flute).

But let's not go through the branches anymore: the important thing is watch the video and let us go, see how he feels, how he lives it, and how his parents are there with him, for him. Pure love, everything. Pure emotion.
