Young mother, long-lived son

A study of 198 US centenarians has led to the conclusion that the mother's youth is directly related to the longevity of the first child. The scientists of this research, although they conclude with this statement, cannot give the explanation, they are only hypotheses.

They rule out that the strength, productivity and youth of the father is the valid cause for the longevity of the firstborn, nor does it favor the first child being more careful about childhood diseases because he has less contact with other children.

So the fact that children born to mothers under 25 are twice as likely to live a hundred years, sheds the following hypotheses: The first fertilized eggs are supposedly better in quality and vigor and young mothers have not suffered chronic infections that could have negative consequences on the long-term health of their children. The researchers state that there may be more explanations, but the difficulty of knowing the lives of people 100 years or older does not allow more answers.

Leonid and Natalia Gavrilov had previously conducted studies and discovered that the centenarians of the United States were farmers in the center of the country, appreciating that being the firstborn in a family increases the chances of reaching 100 years of age by more than 80%.

Well, we will wait for new studies and tests to indicate why firstborn children can enjoy life longer than their siblings.
