Up to 8% of children under 4 years of age suffer from some type of allergy to certain foods, but as for those of plant origin, usually allergy is produced by melon, kiwi and peach.

A food allergy can lead to anaphylactic shock (a severe allergic reaction throughout the body), usually children allergic to plant-based foods have what is called oral allergy syndrome, which we can check through the swelling of lips, itchy throat or ears and in the most critical cases the one mentioned above, an anaphylactic shock. It is important to take care of the food of the child allergic to these foods and avoid them at all costs, at least until the food allergy vaccine does not appear, which they say will be in about 10 years.

For now we must be content with current methods such as allergy vaccination or immunotherapy, treatments by which children are given small doses of the allergen so that their body produces an immune response and is able to create some tolerance to the food in question, of This form will be difficult for anaphylactic shock.
