Pocoyo supports 'Earth Hour'

Taking advantage of the great pull that the nice blue character has in the children's audience, Pocoyó has joined the international initiative 'Earth Hour' promoted by the WWF organization against climate change.

The campaign calls for the next March 28 between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm to turn off all the lights and engage in activities that do not involve electricity consumption.

'Earth Hour' has the support of important organizations, companies and public figures among which is the popular children's animation character Pocoyo. The objective is that through their participation children become aware of the need to act responsibly when it comes to environmental health.

On the official website there is a section called 'Children's Time' in which we can find alternatives to TV such as stories, crafts or games, in addition to proposing activities that children can do with their own hands as masks, garlands made with planets or a clock so as not to forget the appointed day.

Otherwise they might not understand why we turn off the lights of the world, but if Pocoyo tells them, maybe things change. After all, they are the future and it is important that they are involved since they are very young.
