Disney Live show! Mickey's favorite stories: our opinion

Among the activities to do with children in Madrid, I recommended the show Disney Live! Mickey's favorite stories which is on stage at the Municipal Palace of Congresses of the Campo de las Naciones until January 10.

As this year there has been no winter vacation trip we have decided to take the girls to see the show that made them so excited. Well, we have gone and I want to tell you our opinion in case you are interested in making a decision.

The show lasts an hour forty minutes with an interval and perfectly combines characters as diverse as Mickey and Disney princesses. In it, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Guffy discover a fantastic book and take us by the hand through the narration of three classic tales: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast.

Disney production is impeccable. There is not a random detail. Everything is magical, everything is perfect, from the scenery and staging to the choreography and above all, the costumes. Princesses costumes are any girl's dream. Nothing fails or skimp on causing emotions.

As expected, the merchandising of the Disney products displayed in the entrance hall of the Palace could not be missing. As soon as the Disney spirit enters, it floods everything, even the music. For children it is like submerging in a magical world.

Tickets can be purchased at El Corte Inglés and online and are searched at the box office before starting the show, which is very practical because we can decide practically at the moment whether or not we will go. Of course, this when there are still tickets available, but at least the day we went there were several empty seats. Incidentally, it looks pretty good from all locations because the auditorium of the Palace is not too big.

Returning to the show, it will not disappoint your children, although depending on how fanatical they are from the Disney stories, there is a risk that they will disperse a little, especially after the interval and if the children are very young.

If something had to criticize him is that it is a plan too "princely", that is to say that boys may not motivate as much as girls the tales of princes and princesses no matter how Disney they are. But equally the show itself is worth it.

Another thing that seemed to me is that the tickets are a bit expensive. They start from 20 euros to 32 euros. Although the show is of a very good level, a family with two children who pay admission leaves a minimum of 80 euros in a holiday plan for a couple of hours.

In conclusion: Disney is Disney and its quality is unquestionable, but perhaps because of the title of the show many believe that the thing goes more than Mickey and goes much more than princesses.

For those who want to, in February and March the Disney On Ice Dreams of Princesses show is presented in different cities in Spain.
