"The best stories ever" collection, bilingual in audio and book

I love audio discounts, since I was little when some classic stories were played in the family car cassette. And today they still seem like great entertainment for my daughters, who enjoy them when we travel by car. The classic stories to listen to They are part of the soundtrack of our car, which has not yet joined the portable video.

So as soon as I heard about this collection that comes out with the newspaper El Mundo, I decided that we would do it too, a couple of days ago the first story came out, "Pinocchio", and today they deliver the second, "Sleeping Beauty".

The collection is called "The best stories ever. Bilingual Spanish-English edition". The texts in the book and on the CD are in Spanish and English. For the little ones (who are not bilingual) we will use the Spanish edition, and when they grow up and learn English they can bring these same stories, read and heard, in that language.

In case any of you know the previous collection that this same newspaper took out a year ago, I will tell you that the audio discounts are also narrated by an actor and an actress (they alone act as storytellers and the different characters), and in the same style , simple and with some special effects and sound atmosphere.

The difference is that, following the text of the printed book that is also delivered with the newspaper, the narration is divided by the sound of a bell, an acoustic signal that marks the different fragments of the story, and that can be somewhat annoying if We only listen to the story.

On the other hand, that bell helps children who still do not know how to read to turn the page to see the drawings at the time of the narration. When the narration of the text in Spanish ends, the narration of the text in English begins (in this case the person in charge of the phrases is a single actor).

About the books of "The best stories ever"They are soft cover, they are illustrated in color and in the end there are activities and hobbies to deepen the understanding of the story and have fun ordering scenes, solving mazes, coloring, writing ... There are more complex activities aimed at somewhat older children, such as crosswords.

We, with two young daughters, do not listen to or read the version of the story in English, but I think it may be useful later, when they already have enough notions of the language. I also remember how I liked to read little stories in English, when I understood, of course, even if it was a dictionary in hand.

The collection "The best stories ever" is delivered free with the newspaper El Mundo on Sundays, a total of ten titles of classics among which are also "The Puss in Boots", "Alice in Wonderland", "Ali Babá and the 40 thieves", "The Ugly Duckling", "The smug little mouse "...
