All Pinocchio books present at the Madrid Book Fair

In the children's pavilion of the Madrid Book Fair we have prepared a selection of Italian children's and youth literature, because Italy is the country invited to this edition.

We can meet books of Italian authors and illustrators translated into Spanish. From the classics (Salgari, Rodari, the different versions of Pinocchio) to one of the greatest phenomena of the moment (Gerónimo Stilton). We have decided to present this selection through some of the editions of Pinocchio available at the FLM 2012, and it is because the interest in its reading has not been exhausted. Current generations still find meaning in the history of the puppet turned into a child.

Italy has contributed some artists who have been key in developing European illustration such as Munari, Iela Mari or Leo Lionni. Able to innovate and also to thrill. A commitment to other ways of illustrating for children, but above all a commitment to another conception of childhood in which readers are a key part to interpret and enjoy what artists propose to them

All these books and many more will be in the Children's Pavilion of the Madrid Book Fair until June 10. Do you want to meet them?
