Summary of the week from October 31 to November 6 in Peques y Más

Have you noticed how exhibitors have changed in supermarkets and commercial chains? The former have already arranged Christmas candy in view of consumers, and the latter have changed objects to celebrate Halloween, for the first toys that begin to attract the attention of parents and encourage children's dreams.

Although personally I am not very much in favor of advancing events, in Peques and Más we are clear that dads and moms need information on purchases to be made in the next dates. It is a strategy to succeed: dedicate the necessary time to analyze the possibilities we have. So we have been talking about the Catalog of The English Court, admiring the ability to surprise the games of Magic Borrás, publicizing how 'Transformers' come alive in video consoles and presenting as a novelty the Clan tablet.

Although the truth is that playing is something we can do even without toys, so we test our imagination (this is what our parents and grandparents knew a lot about, right?) and that's why on Sunday afternoon we approached a small compilation of board games to do at home with ours and with 'only ' pencil and paper. And since we talked about the game, attending this study, we would have to seriously consider the time available to children to play freely.

Each of us has a different way of spending free time, and from our blog we try to provide ideas that fit different needs. As examples we have seen during these days are crochet patterns to make these beautiful dolls, a possible visit to the Mini Most of Vilafranca del Penedés, reading as an essential element of vacations and trips, or creations with the Toca Tailor application that Marcos brought us in a video.

I continue a little more with technology, because the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Foundation has developed a project called 'My Earth Maps', aimed at promoting knowledge and value of the economy, biodiversity and culture of the Spanish rural and natural environment. Do you want to meet him?

On health issues, we have been able to present the Mitosyl portal to learn about the health and care of babies, and a study that concludes the difficulties that children affected by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can have to lead a normalized life in the future.

Our two interviews have been very productive: At least we have loved having with us the comic book author Susanna Martín, and one of the promoters of the children's radio 'Lentils for your ears'.

Our partner Marcos has approached us a topic of interest: This is a presentation of the evidence generated by the PISA report, and together with the high claims due to the inappropriate contents of television during children's hours, these are other of our posts from the last days.

I finish as I started: talking about games and toys, and telling you that some toys are more expensive than computers with free hardware that kids can use to program.
