"10 illustrators, 10 rights, do I draw it?": Chilean campaign to give visibility to children

A little over a week ago that in Chile a campaign based on an audiovisual series called “10 illustrators, 10 Rights”, this action seeks visibility for children. Why make them visible? ACHNU (Chilean Association for United Nations), explains that in the country, minors are made invisible by a State that does not meet international standards (or what is the same, the Convention on the Rights of the Child ratified in 1991).

It seems difficult for adults to accept the social actors of children, and recognize their autonomy, respecting decisions and listening to positions. Children are not owned by adults, nor by their parents, and the understanding of this fact is sought through two and a half minute chapters that you have collected on this YouTube channel. It has been chosen to raise awareness of Chilean society through illustration, so different designers, muralists and illustrators join the audiovisual producers to publicize children's rights. In this way, and fleeing from complex campaigns, it is expected to generate dialogue and commitment between adults and children.

“10 illustrators, 10 Rights, do I draw it?”, Shows the graphic creation process of each of the artists, and it has been possible thanks to ACHNU, and the Producer 'La Voz'. Then the video starring Sol Díaz.
