Disad organizes a school contest about Blas de Lezo and the defense of Cartagena de Indias against the English attack in 1741

The Association for the dissemination of Hispanity (Disad) is a non-profit cultural entity based in Cantabria. The objective of Disad is to encourage the knowledge of the history of Spain and of its historical, artistic and natural heritage. In addition to cultural activities as conferences, poetry and musical recitals or theatrical performances, Disad also directs part of its activities to the young boys. Disad is working on a comic about the sailor from Gipuzkoa Blas de Lezo which will be published next year.
