Some time ago we presented this tutorial to make up a Mexican skull in children, that got a very special effect for Halloween night.
I liked it a lot because it is very original and creative, but the skull that we present today is very impressive. This is a work by Daniela, which is dedicated to make makeup in different children's events; It has also been her who has given us the steps to follow.
We are grateful for the photos and the explanation of a process that, although simple, would have been difficult for me to do without help.
We need Water-based makeup paints (no waxes) in black and white, and I must take the opportunity to remind you that when you buy them, you should check if the components or ingredients of the cosmetic are listed, to avoid possible allergies. In addition, precautions and instructions must be in Spanish.
You also have to provide triangular makeup sponges and brushes.
First, a few drops of water are added to the white paint and the sponge is impregnated, this is to cover the face of white. Subsequently, and with the clean thick brush, we have to make black master lines as a contour (cheeks and eye contour) and then fill (fixed in the design).
The face of the skull is already defined, and we can prepare for draw fine lines on lips, eyes and forehead. As you can see, the photographs show a blur that is achieved with the brush tilted and moving the black on the white base.
The result is spectacular, and with this design many children will be great. I am going to try, although I will do a previous test with the children to make sure that Halloween will be perfect for me (or almost).
