"Mama's": comes the (fake) bottled breast milk that almost nobody wants to drink (video)

When you go shopping at the supermarket, it is very common to buy milk, cheese and other cow and goat derivatives. So usual that it is something that we have completely normalized, despite being the milk of a huge animal whose initial recipient is its young, the calves.

What would be normal, in a logical world, is for humans to consume human milk, better known as breast milk, but what happens when you offer human milk to humans? This is what they have done in a central Tel-Aviv street, with Milk "Mama's" and the result is curious: almost nobody wants to drink it and more than one person is upset and with obvious signs of ... disgust.

Would you be able to drink breast milk?

I have drunk my wife's breast milk. Not much because it was only extracted for the medium, who was born prematurely, and when he no longer needed the extraction we had left over milk and I got to try it, but of course, it was my wife's.

And if it were that of another woman, that of an unknown woman, like those in the video, who donate their milk to create the product? I would have my reservations, but as with the cow, if it is well controlled, pasteurized and such, I would consume it (as one of the video that does drink it).

The video was created by Anonymous (for animal rights), a group of vegan activists that seeks to raise awareness about the consumption of cow's milk. The message they try to convey is: "If you do not consume breast milk because it is for babies, because it is a mother's milk, why do you consume cow's milk, which is for calves, which is also a mother's milk?" .

I, who am not vegan and consume milk (not much, I am not very "dairy", but I consume it), I turn the matter around and ask myself the other thing: "if you consume cow's milk, which is for a gigantic animal foreign to our species, why wouldn't you consume breast milk? "

Nor is it going to be marketed

Deep down my message is a bit the same, because large-scale marketing of breast milk will never exist. Some of the people in the video ask: "Where does this milk come from? Are there women there in a row taking out milk to create 'Mama's'?" The same times change and I'm wrong, but right now I don't think something like this happened, first because it is not a necessity that exists (Although it is already known, the industry is able to create needs overnight) and second by all ethical and legal aspects that would come associated.

In any case, what I find most interesting is the reaction. We drink milk from a cow and a goat (and then you see cows and goats, with their flies around and their feces on their hooves, which almost nobody wants to approach) and human milk repels us, which comes from women with whom we would have no problem sharing space.
