"Jesusito of my life": they find this baby in the manger of a New York church

This photo kid It was found four days ago in the manger of a New York church, crying and wrapped in towels. For this reason, he has been "baptized" affectionately as "baby Jesus".

Father Christopher Ryan Heanue was preparing the church nativity scene in the morning and in the afternoon, when he returned to the scene, he heard the "Baby Jesus" cry, moving between towels, still with his umbilical cord.

The church, curiously, is called "Church of the Holy Child Jesus", and is located in the Queens neighborhood. After finding him, they put a clean towel wrapped while they waited for the sanitary services to arrive.

Heanue was asked about the facts, and as we read on ABC, he explained that although a mother had abandoned the baby, it seemed nice that he had found a house for his son in his church. In addition, he said that there was already a couple of young people from the parish interested in adopting the child and thus having said "gift" in his community and that would be a great Christmas miracle.

The baby was taken to a hospital, where they verified that he is in good health, while the police proceeded to initiate an investigation.

Even so, even if they find it, they can do little at the legal level if we consider that there it is legal to abandon a baby as long as it is left in a place where it is safe.

If we think of years ago, even decades ago, it seems that churches were the places chosen to leave babies that a couple did not want and, honestly, hopefully always be done in this way if so much more violent situations are avoided To the babies At least, so be it while there are no better solutions such as mailboxes to abandon babies, a totally valid and very practical solution that should exist in all cities.
