A man takes care of a woman's baby in flight, demonstrating that there are small gestures that can be a great help

To show empathy and solidarity with those around us, can only assume a small gesture that, however, positively changes the experience that a person is living at a particular time. Finding a helping hand or someone who understands and helps you, can be the best of gifts when things get complicated.

Flying with young children may not, a priori, be an easy task. The space is reduced, on many occasions they must remain seated the whole way and the trips can be long. Therefore, when it is mother found the help she needed in an unknown passenger to calm his son, witnesses were moved by the scene and the story went viral.

The spectator of this story was so excited about what he was seeing, that he wanted to share it on his social networks to show the world that if we want, we can carry out small gestures that can have a big impact In the life of a person.

The story quickly went viral, being shared more than 30,000 times and extolling the figure of an anonymous passenger who, as a father, knew what the woman he decided to help was living.

Little gestures that make life easier

The events occurred on a plane who was flying to Atlanta from Minneapolis, and in which a pregnant woman and a small child, was having a hard time because her son did not stop crying.

At that moment, one of the passengers decided to help her by taking the little one in her arms so that the mother could rest. It was presented as "a dad who just wanted to help"and walked throughout the flight with the child in his arms treating him as if he were his own son.

"That man was a stranger to that woman but offered to help her. She was pregnant, alone and with a small child who was annoyed and angry. The man could have stayed in his seat, lamenting the woman's fate, but decided do something to help her "- wrote on her Facebook page, Angela Byrd, the spectator of this story.

Angela also confesses that she cried at the scene she witnessed:

"I cried with emotion at what my eyes saw. Not because he was white and she was black, but because I realized that there are still good people in this troubled world."

Fortunately, we have echoed this kind of stories more than once. Auxiliaries who calm babies during the flight, pilots who at one point help an overflowing mother, hostesses who walk a crying child or, as we have seen on this occasion, fathers and mothers willing to lend a hand to those who have side.

My personal experience during a vacation

As a mother, these types of gestures move me a lot and also I have lived them in the first person. Pregnant with my third child, we were enjoying a few days of vacation in a hotel.

One morning at the pool, my husband and my oldest son had been absent for errands, so I was alone in the care of my daughter. My 35-week gut was hugeI had swollen ankles and it was very difficult for me to keep up with my little girl, who at that time was just over 15 months.

Suddenly, I remember that my girl ran without warning to the pool and although I got up from the sunbed at full speed to prevent him from approaching the edge, the help of a man who was sitting right next to me was priceless. He intercepted my little girl's career, took her in his arms joking about her speed and offered me his selfless help to take care of her:

"My wife and I have been watching you for a while and you look tired. As you can see, we are sitting right next to you playing with our children to make constructions on the towel, and our little one must be the same age as your girl. Do you want we take care of her until your husband returns and so you rest? "

I confess that initially I was speechless since that offer came from a complete stranger. But I agreed to his proposal because my daughter looked excited to play with other children and because they were sitting right next to me.

That experience marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship with that couple and their children. His little ones and mine made very good crumbs and became inseparable during the vacation days we stayed at the hotel; and both the man and his wife were always willing to lend us a hand.

And sometimes we go through life with the "autopilot" on; without realizing the people we meet, their needs or emotions. Complaining about the cries of a child, claiming our plot of tranquility and looking only for us and our interests.

Therefore, when we look further, we can realize that a simple gesture of ours can be something nice and rewarding for us, but tremendously important for the person next to us.
