Kelly Luethe lost her husband Jarrett in a tragic car accident in August, when she was pregnant with her third rainbow child (conceived after an abortion). Before giving birth she wanted to have a special memory of pregnancy and asked a friendly photographer, Jessica Brandau, to do a photo shoot to include her husband with Photoshop, as we have seen for example in these photos.
On the day of the session, while Jessica took pictures, Kelly says having noticed the presence of her deceased husband who sent her a signal. It was a great surprise to look at the pictures and notice that a rainbow had appeared on his belly, and beside him a green light.
"It gave me goosebumps and I started to cry," says Kelly. "My heart breaks when I think my little son will never meet his father, but I know Jarrett was here with us."
Those who understand photography can justify the strange elements that appear in the photos, but for Kelly they are much more than random reflexes. They are a symbol of her husband's presence taking care of her and her little rainbow baby.
The baby will be born in January and will be named after his deceased father, Jarrett. It is a sad and at the same time a beautiful story. That of a strong woman, her two children, her rainbow baby about to be born and a father who has left their lives too soon.
