Small manual of the mothers of the world

This is a book written by Gustavo Martín Garzo in which 59 types of mothers are described. These are stories with just two pages in length with great sensitivity and very special poems.

The title of the book, Small manual of the mothers of the world, it makes an ironic sense, to play with the idea of those manuals that they intend to guide. The book was written from a commission made by an NGO to this writer asking for a story of about three pages of extension, he wrote three or four and he liked it resulting in this fantastic book.

It conveys mostly happiness and the almost autonomous world that make up a mother and her son. Here we quote two paragraphs taken from the book. “And, for a mother, her newborn was confused at all with that fawn that came down to drink on the shore of the lake. No one could be surprised why they had a terrible time when they finally had to leave him alone in the shady jungle that was the world for them. ” (From the story "The fearful mothers")

“A tube that, like that of the elephants, allowed them not only to bathe, protect and caress their babies, but to keep the memory of everything they got to do together. The memory, above all, of that adorable little body whose shivers kept, like the words of the poets, the true story of what they were. ” (From the story "The elephant mothers")
