Children's mini gyms at McDonald's

With the intention of showing that he cares about the rising numbers of childhood obesity in the United States, Mc Donald's has installed Children's gyms in the play areas of the premises.

That is, after getting into the body tremendous amount of calories and fat, sweat the fat drop (never better) on special stationary bicycles for children on whose screens you can see animated cartoons.

Everywhere I see him misguided. First, and where most of the reviews go, doing that type of exercise can only lose less than ten percent of the calories that a children's menu supposes.

On the other hand, the solution is not only to exercise in the “R Gym” (they are called) after taking a binge of junk food, but to promote a healthier diet.

Also, to spin finer. Instead of placing stationary bicycles with a TV screen, they instill going out for a real bike ride, running, outdoor sports.

A way of life where there is more nature and less junk food and gyms that hide a bad habit.

For now, gyms have opened in seven locations, but they believe that if the initiative works, they will open in almost all Mc Donald's locations.

Personally, I do not believe that this is the solution to prevent childhood obesity and educate children in a healthier way of life.
