Ephemeral toys

Do you remember that toy of your childhood with which they played for years and that if it broke it was arranged to continue playing?

Well, today that does not exist. Toys have become ephemeral objects, passengers, consequence of the culture of using and throwing that we live today to which children are not strangers.

According to a survey conducted by Jetix, an expert company in children's entertainment, the toys that are given to children at Christmas and Reyes expire the following summer.

They play with them throughout the school year and last until summer is entered.

That is all they last. Six months, or seven at most. After playing with them half a year, they break, or the children get bored and are stacked in the corner of the old toys.

Almost 80% of the toys children receive are Christmas or Kings gifts, at an average of five gifts per child.

The rest are divided between birthdays and those they receive in exchange for finishing the school year with a good grade.

That means that the five of Christmas will have to add the same between birthdays and other events.

Let's say that each child receives a total of ten new toys a year that have an average duration of six months.

Total, soon the old bearded man and his three majesties will arrive with new gifts.
