A controversial judge does not allow to register a child with the name of Noa

It seems that there is a judge in Murcia that prevents many parents from putting the name they want for their son, the last case is that of a marriage formed by a Spaniard and a Frenchman who wish to call their child Noa, since the judge says that he misleads about sex. It is possible, but it is not logical, since being a boy's name in France and being the father of the French country, there should be no problem, but the judge says they could only call Noa if both parents were French.

These parents have contacted the French consulate in Murcia to certify that Noa is a boy's name, but it is not yet known what result it will give, as other Spanish-French parents wanted to call their son Teo and had to finally register him as Teófilo thanks to the same judge.

Martín Ferradal, the judge in question, is also known to prevent the registration of other names, such as Juliet, although 11 months later in another application he did allow it and Bieita, a Galician name that the judge declined because he said he was not Spanish.

On the other hand, if you accept names like Beti, Brandon or Valeria. Anyway, it seems that yes, there are judges who take it with some names and do not allow them. Unfair right?
