The Madrid Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse has begun some Conference on Child Welfare and Protection, which under the slogan "prevent, a common effort", has brought together a group of experts to carry out different proposals and actions for a better childhood, free from abuse through early detection.
In child abuse, one of the fundamental pieces to achieve its detection are pediatricians, a high degree of involvement and thorough knowledge by these professionals is necessary to report any possible case of child abuse. The conference raises issues such as sexual abuse, health, children's rights, education, all aspects that may be related to situations of abuse.
