Interactive museums: the House of Sciences of La Coruña

The Interactive Science Museums they are spaces in which science is disseminated in a participatory way and in which understanding is practical and not only theoretical. This is much more fun and effective. Learning and communication make them very interesting places for children, from small, to experience and enjoy. In them the important thing is not only to see, but also to explore with all our senses. And that, kids love.

The first interactive museum of public ownership in Spain was the Science House of La Corune. It is located in the charming Santa Margarita Park and despite its small size it is full of resources. I have visited him this summer with my son and other young children. I assure you it is worth it.

We could see how chicks and ducklings made their way to life by breaking the shell of their egg. We saw that our bodies give off heat with an infrared camera. We manipulate pulleys and pendulums, as well as other experiments that amazed us. We were watching very interesting live bugs. And all that later gave rise to conversations on these topics in which we all learned a lot. These types of museums, increasingly widespread, are a educational and recreational resource With which parents and children we can spend excellent moments.
