A useful trick: how to remove fruit stains

Surely many mothers will appreciate this advice that comes from the hand of Ahorro Diario, our blog on responsible consumption.

Children often get very frequently stained with fruit, if not every time they eat them. The lack of ability of the little ones added to the fact that most fruits are very juicy causes a lot of our children's clothes are spoiled by stains.

It is also suffered by armchairs, cushion covers or any object susceptible to getting dirty at home.

Among the fruits that stain the most, many of them we eat in summer, are red fruits such as strawberries, cherries, currants, blackberries, blueberries as well as citrus fruits, tangerines, oranges and peaches, watermelon, apricot, etc.

He trick to remove fruit stains of clothing is, if it is a garment of wool or nylon, use a little hydrogen peroxide or ammonia and then rinse thoroughly.

If the fruit has fallen on a leather sofa, we must use lemon juice and then moisten with warm water.

If the stain is on fine fabrics, the solution is to wash in cold water and then add glycerin. Once the stain is covered with glycerin, we wait an hour for the glycerin to absorb the fruit and then wash the cloth with water and detergent.

If we have the bad luck that the stain has fallen on a non-washable fabric, we let the glycerin act for several hours, and then we carefully pass a sponge with a few drops of detergent and water.

I hope you find the advice helpful.
