On the one hand there will be the budget we have that will determine the choice, but equally important is to define how we want to spend our holidays.
When traveling with young children we look for some comforts or services that on other occasions would not worry us so much. We talk about proximity, space, quality, cleanliness, etc.
Let's see the options presented to us:
Hotel
The most used alternative is to stay in a hotel. Depending on our budget and personal style, there will be more or less stars in its name, but that will not tarnish our experience.
A hotel basically offers us a room with a private bathroom and, in most cases, the breakfast and cleaning service of the room.
Today the offer is widely diversified and specialized and we find hotels themed or focused directly on the family market. The current hotels have spacious rooms and full bathrooms and are already beginning to provide differential service to families with children.
We saw it for example in the visit to the recently opened Gold River at the PortAventura theme park.
We must bear in mind a formula that gives excellent results: All inclusive hotels. There, in addition to forgetting the expenses of meals, we will have an entire army of employees willing to entertain our children. Against: the cost. While there are many alternatives and different prices, hotels tend to be the most expensive option. But, if we can, it is the most relaxed too.
Tourist apartments
Combining the benefits of hotels and the comfort of an apartment, this option is presented as ideal when we have small children or have a large family.
We will be more accessible to have an apartment in a tourist complex You reserve two or more rooms for the whole family. In addition, the advantage of having a kitchen at our disposal at any time, makes it easy to keep in part our diet routines and schedules for the little ones.

We had the opportunity to test a unit of the Terrazas Costa del Sol complex in Manilva, which belongs to the tourist accommodation operator Pierre & Vacances specialized in families.
There we could see the advantage of having, for example, a baby kit which saves us carrying a stroller, high chair and bathtub to care for our baby.
