These days in the malls proliferate gifts for dad, and in many of them the ties are protagonists, and not only in silk: cakes, pictures, bottles ... they take the form of a tie.
Today we are going to make a craft so that the little ones give Dad for his day. It is very typical for parents to meet ties for Father's Day, but if the tie has been made by his own son, although he cannot wear it with his suit, it will surely make him look forward to it.
And it is that we turn one of the most traditional gifts into an excuse to have a fun time creating the tie that later will end up becoming a complement to the costumes of the son.
Materials we need:
- A piece of cardboard
- An elastic thread, rubber or cord
- Tissue paper, vegetable or colored patent paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Marker or paints
We create the tie in a few simple steps:
- We painted a tie on the cardboard and cut it out. You can choose as models one of the templates that appear above.
- We cover the tie with paper of the color we want. We can also make drawings.
- We paint a black line or another color different from the rest of the tie in the place where the knot would go.
- Finally we pass a piece of elastic thread through the tie in the place of the knot to be able to hang it.
