Today, in an outing organized by Epysteme, we have been meeting Tutankhamun very closely. This is an exhibition that can be visited in one of the pavilions of the Casa de Campo called "Tutankhamun, the tomb and the treasures" in Madrid and that, in an excellent way, is an approach for children to the fascinating universe of Ancient Egypt.
We have been several families, with children between 3 and 10 years. We had a great time and learned a lot. The exhibition, which can be followed with personal audio guides, is wonderful. It shows, in perfect reproductions, the objects found in the tomb of the boy farón and has, with films, the whole process of this incredible archaeological discovery.
Knowing History and understanding through it the cultural diversity of human beings provides children with an enormously valuable learning and, if they receive it visually and directly, their enjoyment and permanence of much greater knowledge.
For all these reasons I encourage you to attend the exhibition on Tutankhamun in Madrid, with more than 1000 pieces in the form of realistic and faithful replicas of the original and an organization that makes it possible to revive all the fascination of Ancient Egypt.
