"Steam you, steam all", solidarity campaign so that nobody runs out of books

I know that Barco de Vapor is aimed at somewhat older children, but I cannot fail to mention this beautiful Christmas proposal that our Peques colleagues told us about and more. Under the motto “A generation that reads, a world that changes”, until January 9, 2011 For each book sold from the "Steamboat" collection, the SM Foundation will donate another book to hospitals.

In this way, many libraries in these centers will make the stay for sick children a little lighter, from these special dates. I think it is to take it into account when giving books this Christmas, because it is a "two for one" solidarity and very well used.

In the list of hospitals that will benefit from this beautiful initiative there are hospitals in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and other cities in Spain.

The Seur Foundation will collaborate in sending copies to hospitals, and with the success that books in this collection usually have, I imagine that there will be a good endowment to the different hospital libraries.

So you know, if you have a child in your family from 9 years old and you thought about giving away a book, you can give two with the solidarity campaign "Steam you, steam all" so that hospitalized children can also read.
