Children's activities for Earth Hour

Few days left to take place Earth Hour, an initiative in favor of environmental care of which our dear Pocoyo is an ambassador. On the website dedicated to Earth Hour we find a series of resources with activities for children.

The materials are designed to be used in class with children, dedicating a week to the planet with the activities that you divide by age, although they can be found available to any user.

And it is that not only in school can they learn what climate change is and how we can combat it, so that this issue becomes, together with respect for the environment in general, one of the important ones to learn, share and know in House.

The activities are divided by age, the group that interests us includes de three to seven years. These are two teaching booklets that we can download in pdf. and print the pages that are most interesting to us. In them we find maze games, match the pairs, find differences, cut-outs ...

  • In one of the notebooks the protagonist is the Pachín panda bear and his friends, the characters of Pandilla, the magazine for children's partners of WWF Spain. Friendly animals that guide us in the simple activities.

  • The second notebook features Pocoyo and his adventure companions, Pato, Elly, Pajaroto, Pajarito and Loula, with ideal activities for the little ones, from coloring to joining the dots. A great idea not only to celebrate Earth Hour but for any occasion.

  • The activities are completed with an explanatory guide to the teaching proposals to take full advantage of the previous booklets.

We remind you that Earth Hour is an initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and It will be held next Saturday, March 26, at 20:30, when thousands of homes will turn off the light at home and thousands of cities will officially join the blackout, leaving their most emblematic monuments in the dark.

We hope you are children's activities for Earth Hour, highly recommended, make you have a good time with your children and that together we learn a little more about the care of nature.
