Disney will re-release some of its 3D children's films

As we know that many of your children love movies, especially those of the Disney megafactor, we often bring you news that has to do with the world of children's cinema.

A novelty that is sure to excite children and adults is that, according to our film blog partners, Disney will re-release some of its 3D children's films.

Far from being a fad, it seems that the three dimensions in the cinema have come to stay, to the point that after the great success after the relaunch of 'The Lion King' in 3D, Disney plans to add this depth effect to other movies including those of his Pixar branch like 'Beauty and the Beast' ('Beauty and the Beast', 1991), 'Finding Nemo' ('Finding Nemo', 2003), 'SA monsters.' ('Monsters Inc.', 2001) and 'The little Mermaid' ('The Little Mermaid', 1989).

The first of the re-release will be next January with 'Beauty and the Beast' and will happen until September 2013. 'Monsters S. A.' in 3D it will be released six months before its “prequel”, 'Monsters University', which is expected in June 2013.

Many will wonder if it makes sense to go back to theaters to watch movies with the only novelty of 3D, but I think that in the case of children's films it is a success. There are many children who were not born when these films were released and they are given the opportunity to see them on the big screen (or see them again if necessary) with the addition of the third dimension.

Also, remember that children are able to watch the same movie over and over again without getting bored, so no matter how much they have seen them on DVD, most will be looking forward to the re-releases to sit in the armchair with their 3D glasses.
