ChildPad, a tablet for children

It is not surprising that today many children know how to use a last generation terminal before tying their shoelaces. The parents of these children may be interested in what our Xataka classmates teach us: the launch of ChildPad, a tablet for children.

If at home you are fond of technology, surely the little one has already begun to make his first steps on smartphones and tablets, and more than that, some are already able to handle simple applications with only a very young age.

Childpad It has been specially designed for children by the French company Archos. It has a seven-inch screen, Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the latest version of Android, a 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM.

It will come loaded with 28 applications for children like Angry Birds, one of the most popular children's games, Pig Rush and Flight Frenzy, and most importantly for parents who think about the safety of children on the net, a parental control baptized as “Parental Mobile Filter”, which ensures safe browsing and filters applications.

It will also have its own app store, including games, multimedia applications, comics, eBooks and more.

It seems an interesting option for our little digital natives, a tablet just for them, also at a reasonable price. It will go on sale at the end of March for 100 euros.
