How to decorate Easter eggs

Making crafts with children is an excellent plan for Easter holidays, so I will give you the keys to how to decorate easter eggs so that you get everything you need and get down to work.

The basic technique is very simple and once achieved you will see that there are a lot of decorative variants that you can try to create new effects.

For the technique that I am going to teach you you need stickers of different shapes, food coloring of the colors you want, and of course, cooked and cooled eggs. In this case, the eggs are cooked, which is easier than having to empty them.

Too easy. You have to place the stickers as a mask around the egg, put it in a glass of water with about 20 drops of dye (or in the proportion you consider according to the color you want to achieve) and a spoonful of white vinegar.

Leave the egg for about a minute, remove it with a spoon, dry it with a paper towel and remove the stickers. If you want to get an effect of eggs with moles like the ones below that I have seen in The Happiness Recipe, you will have to use round stickers, which can be larger or smaller.

On the other hand, if you want to achieve an effect like the cover photo with bicolor leaves and flowers, you will need two models of stickers. First you place the leaf stickers, you dip the egg in red dye, you remove it, also the stickers, you place the flower stickers on the already dyed and immerse it in green dyes. Thus, when you remove them, the green leaves and the red flowers will remain. Here you can see a video tutorial.

What is very simple? With these examples you can make a lot of different variants. Using, for example, stickers of stars, bunnies, and even stickers that you can make yourself cutting out a self-adhesive vinyl.
