'Families with Heart' are sought to help family groups that are in a situation of exclusion

As a result of the economic crisis poverty is more extensive, intense and (also chronicles), and I am very afraid that the last measures taken by the Government will only aggravate the situation.

It is estimated at 21.8% of the population (in 2010), people below the poverty line, and in the first quarter of 2012, the number of households with all their active members unemployed was 1,728,400. Among the data that alert us to the intensity is the disposable income per person and the drop in the poverty line.

Last year 50% of unemployed people were 'long-term unemployed', and in Cáritas the increase of people 'without income' attended by the Organization has been observed. And it is precisely this entity (since the delegation of Albacete) that has recently initiated a campaign aimed at families in financial distress, the axis of this action is based on collaboration with a monthly amount that will be allocated to families in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion. 'Families are sought with heart', whose contributions will be directed to other families that are on the verge of exclusion and without resources to move forward. Therefore, they will also be provided with job training and social tools aimed at achieving economic autonomy.

They want to get donations of 20 euros per month for food, school supplies, necessary home repairs, etc. The beneficiaries are guaranteed anonymity, although in the Cáritas Albacete site they offer us a profile of people who need help: family with two children, parents are unemployed and have lost their home, mother with two minor children and insufficient social benefits , among other situations.

Donors will have all the necessary information about the destination of the amounts allocated to the project, which are managed through the Economic Assistance Service for Families of Caritas Albacete

I have read that participation is also open to group initiatives of groups that raise money for the project. Solidarity is underway, I think From now on we will observe more similar actions that originate formally or informally, look around and you will see.

The money contributed by donors is managed through the Economic Assistance Service for Families of Caritas Albacete. From here, the amounts reach sponsored families, who receive the funds donated by the sponsors. Thus they obtain income "to respond to specific or temporary situations" when they are going through a social emergency situation.
