Family visits to meet the medieval knights in the Museum of Navarra

What a child does not play knights and princesses, it is a magical world for them, which fascinates them, so they will be delighted with this proposal. Throughout all Sundays and holidays of September and October there will be free guided tours and activities for children in the temporary exhibition "Knights and horses. Between 1212 and 1512", in the Museum of Navarra.

Until November 11, families who come to the Museum to see this exhibition can have a good time with the activities and materials offered for free. The idea is that adults and children enjoy watching, playing, talking and learning together. A way to make museums not just "grown-up" thing ...

The material, available in Spanish and Basque, is provided at the entrance of the Museum and can be downloaded from the website of the Navarra Museum. To participate it is only necessary to go to the Museum during opening hours to the public and take the folder with the materials at the box office.

Throughout the different rooms, children and adults will be able to identify different parts that make up an armor and discover pieces related to the world of knights and horses from Prehistory to the twentieth century.

In addition, the Museum has tours with booklets for families, in which different games of "I see" are proposed, to enjoy more of the visit. Where are the horses, bulls or musical instruments?

So it is a good opportunity to know this exhibition on medieval knights, free and in family at the Museum of Navarra. All visits will begin at 12.30 pm. Visiting days will be on Sundays 9, 16, 23 and September 30; Sundays 7, 14, 21 and 28 on Friday, October 12; and Sundays 4, 11 and Thursday, November 1.
