Baby Bubbly, a WHO and UNICEF short film on breastfeeding

Yesterday we told you that in many places in Spain the World Breastfeeding Week is going to be celebrated these days, and for that reason we wanted to rescue "Baby Bubbly", an animated video that we talked about years ago and in which UNICEF and WHO show the importance of breastfeeding the newborn baby.

Precisely this character in 3D animation was born as part of the celebration of World Breastfeeding Week to promote the start of breastfeeding during the first hours of life and the benefits of early mother-child contact.

In just 45 seconds the importance of start breastfeeding in the first hour of life of the baby, one of the good practices in those first moments after birth.

The "Bubblies" are a community of animated characters of simple appearance and that speak "bubly", a kind of babble, designed so that people of all ages and nationalities can understand your message.

This spot is used to support breastfeeding promotion campaigns and although UNICEF notes that it is the first in a series on reducing infant mortality, we have not been able to find more videos with these characters.

Perhaps it would be convenient to review these images, which are good for demonstrate the importance of breastfeeding the baby right after birth, but that shows the woman giving semi-costly birth (at least not with her legs up). The issue of the baby sucking over clothes does not seem very successful either ...
