The loss of a child before birth is a very painful and disconcerting trance for the couple. Answers are sought, feelings of guilt arise, of frustration. To help those who have suffered GAP is born, support group for perinatal losses in Madrid.

The idea, which has finally taken shape, has been around for a long time in the mind of Diana Sánchez, a perinatal psychologist and sexologist, whom we have interviewed recently in our blog. The intention was to create a space of complicity and refuge for parents, where they could feel understood, heard, and together seek a path of help, healing, sharing and compassion.

GAP It aims to be the link for families who have suffered the loss of a baby in any week of gestation, or even a few days after birth.

In addition to Diana, other parents who have lost their babies are also part of the group and has the support of Uma Manita, created by Juan and Jillian after losing their daughter Uma.

If you have gone through a similar experience you can bring them closer to the talks, as well as recommend them to acquaintances who have gone through the same.

The meetings will be monthly (in principle the first Saturday of each month) and will begin on next day February 2 in a room of the Genesis Group in Madrid.
