The Oscar-nominated short Paperman can now be seen and enjoyed on YouTube

When we went to see the premiere of Rompe Ralph! we were delighted with the fascinating short film before the film with beautiful drawings called Paperman. It is a beautiful six-minute film directed by John Kahrs and performed by the Disney Animation Studios. It is a romantic love story, in black and white (except a small brand of deep red lips), with a hybrid production between traditional and 3D animation, without words and with many details to be very entertaining for adults and children.

In the film it is very difficult not to feel close and identify with the characters that appear in the short film and that can already be enjoyed on YouTube. Because the young office worker wants to conquer the girl based on paper planes from her boring job. The end of the story is magnificent, optimistic and full of happiness.

From Disney explain that Paperman is a beautiful love story that passes between the boring walls of an office, surrounded by cold administrative material but with a window open to hope. The short follows the story of a lonely young man in New York in the middle of the last century, whose fate turns around after accidentally encountering a beautiful woman on his daily journey. Convinced that the girl of his dreams is gone forever, he gets a second chance when he sees her from his office in the window of a skyscraper on the other side of the avenue.

I recommend it for the drawing quality, the beautiful history and the atmosphere of New York with those typical buildings. The production is by John Lasseter. Let's see what happens at the Oscar ceremony.
