'Learn to study': the guide for parents to collaborate in the educational success of children

The National Center for Curricular Development in Non-Proprietary Systems (CeDeC) presents a new open resource aimed at supporting and training parents so that they collaborate in the educational success of their children.

They have begun to offer complete content from the web (now only the first module is available, although between April and May they will publish the rest). At the moment, we have good information (available through the platform of the Ministry of Education Adds), with recommendations for communication with children and monitoring their school evolution, improving the relationship with schools. The first installment is called 'Parents and Educators', and soon the modules 'how to study', 'does my child know how to study?', 'difficulties (and suspensions)' and 'reasons to study' will be activated.

The objective is to give parents and families a series of orientations and resources to support their children in their studies and respond to their needs and demands.

From the CeDeC Resources section, in addition to accessing 'Learn to Study', we can consult the rest of the materials of this Center: Social Networks Guide (of which we have already spoken), Attention to Diversity, Creation of Curricular Materials, and others.

The contents of this guide that in a few weeks we can fully enjoy, start with the basis of texts written by the educational community of IES Enrique Díez - Canedo de Puebla de la Calzada (Extremadura).
