Galileo, the messenger of the stars, is a comic in search of financing in Lánzanos

We had already commented on Peques and Más the editorial plan that has been marked Jordi Bayarri after the publication of Darwin, the evolution of the theory. And he wants to get, before the end of the first semester 2013, publish Galileo, the messenger of the stars and in the second half will launch to publish Marie Curie. His goal is to make all comics part of the Scientific Collection.

Jordi's challenge is bring the history of science to the little ones. If the first publication was dedicated to the famous naturalist Charles Darwin, the goal of the comic is Galileo Galilei, a restless and pioneer scientist who literally revolutionized the conception of the universe of his time.

We hope Jordi can get the funding and also that, as the comic is an excellent means for children get used to reading, learning and assimilating in an entertaining and entertaining way, basic historical and scientific concepts can be published.

The Galileo comic, the messenger of the stars, will have the same format that the Darwin, with dimensions of 24x17 centimeters, 48 interior pages in full color and binding in cardboard. The patrons who choose the option of 14 euros will also receive a small book where Galileo explains to the little ones the various characteristics of the planets of the solar system.

And there are more options, as Jordi explains on the Lanzanos page, for example, receiving the two comics (Darwin, the evolution of the theory, and Galileo, the messenger of the stars) together and even original drawings.

Like the previous comic, Galileo, the messenger of the stars will be made in collaboration by Jordi Bayarri, author and editor of comics and Tayra Lanuza, doctor of science history and postdoctoral researcher at CSIC.

We wish them good luck and we hope that the project can get ahead.
