The return of Mickey Mouse

Now that we are in the middle of Holy Week, I have taken a tour of our neighboring blog to see what cinematographic options are currently available to go with my family, and I have come across a story that has caught my attention: Mickey Mouse return.

As I say, it is something that I found by chance and I did not expect it at all because I consider Mickey Mouse to be one of the few characters that have survived many generations over time. It is true that the Mickey Mouse that my daughters see is not the same as I saw when I was his age, but the essence of the character does remain intact.

That said, how is it possible that we can say that Mickey Mouse returns to the present if it has never ceased to be a current character? Well, the answer is easy: like many other characters of our childhood (one of the most recent cases is that of the Mayan Bee), it has reinvented itself.

The return of the most famous mouse of all time (with permission of the Little Mouse Perez, of course) is called "Croissant de Triomphe", and it is the first of a series of short films in which Mickey, along with his friends, will live on again a series of adventures similar to those they did at the beginning of their career.

Apparently, Disney Animation is preparing a series of short films where our Disney friends will visit different cities of the world, such as New York, Venice or Tolio. In principle, they will be released in the United States through the Disney Channel themed channel starting next June 28.

In this new adventure we can see how Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie Mouse, has run out of croissants in her cafeteria. Therefore, Mickey must go as quickly as possible through the streets of Paris to find the necessary buns for customers in the cafeteria.

For years that this little mouse so dear to boys and girls (and also for those who are not so small) did not star in any short film or movie, although it did continue its journey through the different television channels through the occasional children's space or replacement of his classics.

In this link you can see the video of the short film, where I invite you to stay tuned to discover what Disney cameo you can find in this short film.

What do you think of the Mickey Mouse return? Do you like it or, on the contrary, do you prefer the first adventures of this nice little mouse that debuted in 1928 with "Steamboat Willie"? Personally, I want to see this cartoon series to see their new adventures ...
