Aleix Saló and his works on the Spanish economic crisis

Aleix Saló is from Ripollet (Barcelona) and became very well known in 2011 promoting the work Spain (this country is going to shit), in 2012 he returned with Simiocracy (chronicle of the great economic hangover) and this year 2013 has just presented Europesadilla (someone has eaten the middle class).

At home we get hooked on the video of the Simiocracy. A very funny video, well explained, perfectly narrated (with the voice of Aleix) and enlightening about many of the points that make a country, in this case Spain, live in the current economic crisis. The little girl began to see him, to understand concepts (as far as I think he can understand some concepts) and especially to laugh with him. This year 2013 also saw the video of Euro Nightmare on YouTube. So when we learned that Aleix was signing copies at the Book Fair we decided to move on to see what we were. We had already been treated very well by Leontxo García, so seeing another author was very promising.

And the experience exceeded expectations. Aleix was charming, very grateful to Maria and I think he was surprised that he had such a young fan. The production of your videos may not be suitable for children, although of course everyone chooses what they consider appropriate to see with their children. My daughter took the opportunity to ask him to draw a monkey of simiocracy and also Aleix was encouraged to make a funny cartoon taking advantage of the hat he wore to protect himself from the heat at the Book Fair. The little one has read a large part of the book and especially liked and understood the part in which the origin of old europe.

Here are the three videos in which you can see the excellent work of Aleix Saló. I take this opportunity to link their participation in the Madrid Book Fair in case any reader wants to approach. The Europesadilla work has a price of 9.95 euros that is even more reduced these days of the Fair.
