Pajama Museum, a beautiful initiative for hospitalized children

That the children who are sick in the hospital have a more pleasant stay is important for their general condition, that is why we applaud the initiatives that try to entertain them in that situation. "Museum in pajamas" is a proposal of the Archaeological Museum of Seville for hospital classrooms.

This initiative is based on the Archaeological Museum and is carried out in collaboration with the Association of Friends of the Museum and the Virgen del Rocío Hospital. Recently they had some children oncology patients, and had a great time.

In this way the museum is close to those who cannot go to its facilities, and it does so by providing a very enriching experience for sick children. Because there children are helped to cope with their stay and also to continue learning and not to lose the rhythm of their intellectual and emotional development.

Throughout the school year "Museum in pajamas" It takes place approximately once per quarter. Through photographs of dioramas made with toys, they explain to the children the history of an archaeological object until it reaches the Museum.

But above all there are many games and activities inspired by images of museum pieces or games that were already used in antiquity: archaeological couples, crafts versioning idols ...

We hope this Nice initiative of the Museum in pajamas for hospitalized children Keep going, because we are sure that it does a lot of good for the little ones and their families. Playful activities make them forget their illness and continue with more strength to recover.
