Activities for children in the Ría de Bilbao Maritime Museum

If you still do not know this museum we are talking about today, November will be your opportunity. The Ría de Bilbao Maritime Museum is celebrating its anniversary and wants to celebrate it in a big way with activities for children and for all audiences.

Playmobil fans can't miss permanent exposure "The Museum according to Playmobil clicks", which has six dioramas in which the clicks represent some of the most important themes of the exhibition (a shipwreck, a pirate attack, the launch of a ship ...).

On weekends, by prior reservation, a Didactic Classroom will be enabled to carry out various children's activities complementary to the permanent exhibition of the Playmobil. From December, children five years and older can participate in a fun Pirate Gimkana.

The Museum also organizes children's workshops with the aim of bringing children to maritime heritage and culture, in a playful and participatory way. These workshops are complemented with guided tours, as a game of clues, to the exhibitions of the Museum.

The Museum opens in winter from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. In summer time it opens from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Tuesdays there is free admission and children under six are free every day.
