The book A Walk through Space is an example of the informative effort of the Spanish space industry

The book A walk through space It was presented in the middle of the year 2013 in Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid), which is one of the facilities that the European Space Agency (ESA) has in Europe. The work is an example of the informative effort of the Spanish space industry that is tremendously active and explains the benefits that space infrastructures provide constantly in our lives.

The book presents a simple language and one very attractive aesthetic to bring space to all audiences, especially kids. And it is that the little ones will find in the book spectacular content, with many details of outer space and with illustrated explanations of how space launchers or satellites work and how they benefit our lives, protect the health of the planet and boost the economy. A walk through space has the Foreword by Spanish astronaut Pedro Duque which has contributed in a remarkable way so that the benefits of the technologies developed by the space industry in our society are better known. The support of ESA, which also participates in its content, is an invaluable help in the dissemination of Spanish space activity.

Although there is a paper version, which I have not been able to find, the book can be consulted and downloaded for free from the ESA Internet pages in order to expand its dissemination among all audiences. The work is published in English and Spanish. The download format is pdf in which there is no interactivity of the Internet page and whose first page is used to illustrate the article. The image below is the one that corresponds to the work in pdf:

I think it can be very interesting content for project on the digital whiteboard, for encourage the little ones to check it at home and to generate interest in science and astronomy among the little ones.
