Cannelloni with Bolognese. The recipe that mom, dad and children like

Ingredients for 4-6 people

  • For the Bolognese sauce: 400 gr of minced beef, 1 onion, 2 carrots, 1 branch of celery, 600 ml of fried tomato, a clove of garlic, 100 ml of red wine, oregano, a tablespoon of sugar, virgin olive oil, salt and a glass of water.
  • For the béchamel sauce: 50 grams of butter, 40 grams of flour and 600 ml of whole milk

How to make cannelloni in Bolognese

Make a Bolognese is not mixing minced meat and fried tomato but we must use many more ingredients. We start by chopping the onion and garlic as thin as we can and slowly stirring them in a large pan until they begin to transpararentar. While we are chopping the carrot and celery also very small and add them to the pan.

We continue adding the minced meat and stir it until it changes color. It is time to incorporate the wine, which will add flavor and color but that will not leave alcohol because we will cook until it evaporates before continuing the recipe. Now you just need to add the fried tomato and sugar, mix well and add a glass of water and oregano, and let the whole cook until there is almost no liquid and we have a very thick meat sauce.

To make the bechamel Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and stir continuously. We incorporate the milk little by little while we continue stirring and until obtaining a light cream, not as thick as when we make croquettes, but as a custard.

Finally, we assemble the cannelloni as follows. Cook the pasta plates in the manner indicated by the manufacturer and we spread them on a dishcloth so they don't stick to each other. On them we place the Bolognese sauce and close the cannelloni by rolling it on itself.

In the baking dish, we place a fried tomato sauce base, on it we place the cannelloni with the closure on the bottom and cover with the béchamel sauce, topping our plate with some grated cheese. We heat in the oven 8 minutes at 180º and gratin until the surface is golden brown.
