An impressive work desk that becomes a NASA control panel

There comes a time when our children need a workspace for them, either to perform the tasks they send them at school or for their games or to spend time reading stories. In the market we can find many solutions to create these small areas of tranquility, which is what we call it at home.

But surely you don't find out there something as impressive as this Work desk that becomes a control panel of NASA.

I'm sure Jeff Highsmith is the most envied boy in his class and probably in his town. His father has built a very special desk. During a part of the day it is a normal and current desk that will be used to read, draw and perform the tasks of the school in the future, but also, hidden inside there is a real orbital control station that nothing has to envy those they have in the NASA control room.

LEDs, potentiometers, safety switches, lights and sounds, all computer controlled (rasperry and arduino working together) is what we will find in this mission control panel built based on the original Apollo 12.

As you can see in the video, the work done by his father has been a lot, but there is no doubt that the result has been impressive because he has taken care of every last detail, if he even has a small screen where he can follow the development of navigation . Of course, this guy makes me envious, if they give me something that small, I behave until I am 16.

I take off my hat before these parents who work hard so that their children see their dreams fulfilled.
