Decalogue of asthma for children

At the beginning of the month we celebrated World Asthma Day with the aim of becoming aware of the most common chronic disease in childhood, with more and more children affected. It is believed that 12 percent of children are asthmatic.

Given the incidence of the disease among children, the AEPap (Spanish Association of Primary Care Pediatrics) has developed a Decalogue of Asthma with the intention of publicizing briefly and concretely its main characteristics and care.

This year's motto is "You can control your asthma", so that the child learns to control the disease and that it does not end up controlling his life, it is important that they learn self-care habits, teaching them how to handle crises and reducing the exposure to risk factors.
